Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actor when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and then since 2020 - made her famous. Her commercial appearances were not her only activity she was involved in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Also, she was regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. Her parents and she left antisemitism at two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. At the age of five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and earned a GED. She went on however to earn the Bachelor of Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
