Jacques Bermon Webster III (born April 30, 1993) is a popular American rapper from the United States. His stage name is the namesake of a favorite uncle combined with the first name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. It was followed with the release of a second mixtape called Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the top of the list in less than a decade , in the year 2020.
